Reunion Island Coffee, an Oakville specialty roaster, launched its latest signature coffee -- Rainforest Alliance Swiss Water Process Firefly Decaffeinated.
Sourced from a progressive, Rainforest Alliance certified producer group in Brazil’s fertile Minas Gerais region, the coffee has the character to maintain its exceptional taste and aroma through the decaffeination process. To create a sustainable decaffeinated coffee that doesn’t compromise taste, Reunion Island selected the patented Swiss Water process to remove the caffeine without the use of chemicals. The result is a rich, aromatic coffee that offers decaf drinkers a deliciously satisfying coffee experience.
The company roasts Firefly to a medium-dark level to accentuate its buttery body and caramelized sugar flavors. With its dark chocolate notes and clean finish, this decaffeinated coffee is ideal for traditional drip and espresso brewing.
