Crane Co.’s Glenn Butler Defends Cashless Vending

Glenn Butler, vice president and chief technology officer of Crane Merchandising Systems, defends the economics of cashless vending. Butler defends cashless vending in response to a podcast aired Jan. 7, 2010, in which a vending operator claimed the economics of cashless vending don’t justify the investment. Butler claims that cashless vending makes sense for machines carrying products priced at least $1.75.
