USA Technologies’ Mike Lawlor Notes Recent Growth In Cashless Vending Despite Recession

Feb. 23, 2010
Mike Lawlor, vice president of sales and business development at USA Technologies Inc., further defends the economics of cashless vending. He claims in the last 12 to 24 months, cashless reader deployments have grown by 50 percent. Lawlor also claims that cashless card readers make sense for products that are priced over $1.00. He notes that tests have shown that the higher the price point, the greater the amount of cashless purchases from the machine.
