Cantaloupe Systems’ Anant Agrawal Notes Importance Of Planogramming Vending Machines

Anant Agrawal, chief marketing officer at Cantaloupe Systems, defends planogramming vending machines. He makes his comments in response to those by a vending operator that were presented in a podcast on Dec. 21, 2009. Agrawal says planograms allow management to understand what is actually selling at what location. Otherwise, all a vending operator really knows is total volume that went into the field based on what’s left in the warehouse at the end of the week.
