VMW Exclusive Podcast: Frost & Sullivan Researcher Cites Positive Outlook For Cashless Vending

Brent Iadarola, global research director of mobile and wireless communications for Frost & Sullivan, comments on the challenges and solutions for cashless vending. In an exclusive interview conducted by Glenn Goldberg, a spokesman for wireless solutions provider Apriva, Iaradola addresses questions such as why cashless payments have taken so long for the vending industry to adopt. He notes that any time a technology deviates from the norm, adoption is slow in the beginning. Iadarola notes there have historically been issues with transaction costs and accountability and reporting. He also notes that new solutions have been introduced to address these issues.
