Tom Ries of Firelands Food Systems in Sandusky, Ohio has found the Starbucks "E-Cup" brewer successful in some locations and is planning on adding more. The Starbucks "E-Cup" is a Starbucks interactive brewer that has a cashless reader and does not take cash. Ries was interviewed at the Vendors Exchange International Inc. open house in Cleveland, where he found the some of Vendors Exchange International’s new technology especially interesting.
