The Vending Center, a Midfield, Ala.-based vending equipment distributor, recently acquired the vending equipment inventory of Greater Southern Distributing Co. Inc., based in Smyrna, Ga., and Birmingham Vending Co., based in Birmingham, Ala. Both Greater Southern Distributing Co. and Birmingham Vending Co. continue to distribute amusement machines.
Birmingham Vending Co. carried Automatic Products, Dixie Narco and U-Select-It lines.
Greater Southern Distributing Co. carried Automatic Products, Fastcorp, Dixie Narco, and U-Select-It.
"We helped them resign their full line vending sales," said Bill Hutchinson, president of The Vending Center.
Steve Toranto, president of Birmingham Vending Co., said the vending sales did not justify continuing the business. He stressed the fact that the amusement machine business continues to be strong.
Gregg Smith, who was the vending sales manager at Greater Southern Distributing Co., joined U-Select-It Corp. as Eastern regional sales manager, as announced on VendingMarketWatch on 01/20/09.

do you sale equipment for vendors. Im looking for a drink carrier that can hold 10 or more drinks 12 pack or cases that i can roll in with my dolley into establishments to service my machines. Also bends that have dividers to separate snacks for servicing machines as well.
