Consultancy Claims ‘Overly Medicalized’ Foods To Lose To ‘Playful, Aspirational’ Ones

The Hartman Group, a food consultancy, predicts that consumers will start to move away from “overly medicalized” foods in favor of those offering what it calls “more playful, aspirational benefits,” according to www.nutraingredients-usa.com. Products that Hartman places in the “medicalized” category include tortilla chips and drinkable skin care. Examples of products in the “playful” and “aspirational” category include vitamin water, and energy drinks.
