Next Generation Vending and Food Service, Inc., based in Canton, Mass., recently signed an agreement to become a Canteen franchisee. Next Generation will acquire and divest specific territories with Canteen Vending Services and selected Canteen franchisees in the Northeast.

Yesterday’s VendingMarketWatch reported that Next Generation acquired Loose Ends Vending & Foodservice Inc., based in Batavia, N.Y., also a Canteen franchisee.

Through these acquisitions, Next Generation will double its customer base and revenue and focus its geographic footprint to have significant density in key markets in the Northeast. With approximately 900 employees and more than $120 million in annual revenue, Next Generation serves clients throughout the Northeast, including New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and northern Pennsylvania.
