Greg Sidwell, president of G&J Marketing Inc., the Palm Harbor, Fla.-based vend product brokerage, recently purchased a 49 percent ownership position in MicrotronicUS, the High Point, N.C.-based distributor of Switzerland-based Microtronic’s vending technology. Sidwell has also been named vice president of MicrotronicUS.
Terri Starnes-Bryant is president and co-owner of MicrotronicUS, which provides hardware and software for cashless and door access for vending machines and cash registers.
Sidwell said G&J Marketing will represent MicrotronicUS in the Southeast. He said there will be direct sales people and broker representatives in other parts of the U.S.
Sidwell also said MicrotronicUS will soon be moving to new office and warehouse space in Highpoint, N.C.
Sidwell said this marks his first venture in vending computer technology.
