Three men were arrested on suspicion of stealing vending machines from around southwestern Riverside County, according to The Press-Enterprise in Riverside, Calif.

Authorities said the men would unbolt the machines, drill them open to retrieve the money, then dump them into a lake. Investigators tracked down the suspects by using surveillance video from a business near the location of the most recent theft, a sheriff's news release said.
