Maryland County Committee Backs Healthy Vending Policy

Washington's Top News reports that a measure for healthy vending in Prince George’s County, MD, will move forward. The policy would require more healthy items in vending machines places such as county offices and libraries. At a county council committee on June 8, council members said they wanted to turn the policy into legislation in order to ensure it remains in place as administrations change.
