Feniks Inc, creator and distributor of the Rubi Micro Café premium coffee kiosk, has entered into a development agreement with Accent Foods to deploy Rubi across Accent’s growing base of operations. Accent Chief Marketing Officer John Christian stated “We are optimistic to work with the Rubi team to elevate our existing vending coffee proposition, Rubi is a unique and powerful brand that can potentially drive consumer engagement and Same Store Sales Growth within our existing vended coffee portfolio".

“Our relationship with Rubi has grown through our recent acquisition of Black Tie Services” says Christian. “Scott Meskin, former owner of Black Tie and current Division President for Accent Food Services Mid Atlantic Division has been an advocate of the program and his team has been placing Rubi in high volume workplace, college, and hospital venues for the past two years, including at the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, D.C..”

Feniks Inc. is the Seattle-based owner of the Rubi Micro-Café concept. Feniks acquired the Rubi kiosk and related assets from Outerwall (OUTR) in 2014 and are now deploying Rubi across the US though a network of operators. Feniks works closely with vending operators to deploy Rubi in big box retail stores, college campuses, hospitals, and workplaces where a good cup of coffee can often be hard to find.
