MALVERN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--USA Technologies, Inc. is proud to announce that Stephen P. Herbert, Chairman and CEO, was honored as a Future 50 award winner in the Philadelphia market by SmartCEO Magazine, this evening.
Sixty Greater Philadelphia companies were recognized for their fast growth, determined by a three-year average of employee and revenue numbers. The 2017 Future 50 winners collectively generate nearly $4.84 billion in annual revenue and employ 25,272 individuals in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Mr. Herbert joined USA Technologies in 1996 and served as the company’s President and Chief Operating Officer from 1999 to 2011, when he was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining USA Technologies and since 1986, he worked for the Pepsi-Cola Company, the beverage division of PepsiCo, Inc., where he held several management positions in operations, sales and marketing. Mr. Herbert is a graduate of Louisiana State University.
