Willie Shoemaker, a Randolph-Sheppard operator servicing vending machines at two rest stops along the Grapevine in Lebec, CA, has been dealing with theft and damage to the machines for more than three months, reports 23 ABC News.
Shoemaker notes that because the machines are owned by the State of California, replacing the burglarized machines is a lengthy process, during which time all of the sales are eliminated.
