Ohio Vending Operator Loses Thousands Of Dollars To Machine Vandals

Aug. 12, 2016

Andrew Waldman, owner of Dayton, OH-based Classy Amusement & Vending, has been losing thousands of dollars for months due to thieves picking the locks on his vending machines, reports WDTN. According to Waldman, more than 50 of his vending machines have been robbed, with roughly $500 taken each time.

Waldman says he has taken additional steps needed to dissuade the vandals, including attaching more locks and investing in electronic locks. He believes the thieves are learning to pick locks by watching videos on the internet.
