July 6, 2016

(CHICAGO) July 6, 2016 – NAMA announced today that Elyssa Allahyar-Steiner has been named Chair of the association’s Emerging Leaders Network (ELN).

“Mike Kelley has done an outstanding job in enhancing ELN’s role in the industry during his tenure as Chair,” said Elyssa.  “ELN’s Steering Committee joins me in thanking Mike – and Paul Tullio before him – for their leadership of ELN.  Both Paul and Mike were the right leaders at the right time for our organization.”

“It has truly been an honor serving under Mike. He evokes a strong sense of drive to grow the membership and expand ELN’s ability to support the NAMA Foundation.  I am encouraged and excited to carry on his legacy,” she continued.

Also taking office is C.J. Recher, who has been named Vice Chair of ELN.  Both Elyssa and C.J. officially begin their terms this week.

Comprised of nearly 100 industry professionals under 40 committed to developing a legacy of leadership, ELN works to add value to the convenience services industry and NAMA priority areas including Advocacy, Education, Research and Events.

Looking ahead, ELN has worked to build participation in the NAMA Fly-In, taking place July 12-13, in several new ways for 2016, including a first-ever ELN scholarship program.
