Industry Mourns Passing Of Dale Dardis, 66

Dale J. Dardis, owner/operator of SGRC and Halo Vending, passed away at the age of 66. Dardis was born on July 22, 1949 in Cleveland and passed away suddenly on May 7, 2016 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Dardis was the beloved husband for 43 years of Susan (nee Brown); loving father of Bryan (wife Sarah), Kim Carcelli (husband Bob), Tim (wife Megan), and Joe; devoted grandfather of Jackson, Annabelle, Lincoln, Nicholas, Tyler and Ethan; cherished son of Joseph and Christine (nee Pietro); dearest brother of Claudia Pringle (husband Gary, deceased) and Michael (wife Sally); dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend of many. Dardis is survived by his canine companion Sonny. He was also a U.S. Navy Veteran.

He was a resident of South Euclid, OH, for 40 years, previously of Chesterland. He was a parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish. He graduated from West Geauga High School in 1967 and graduated from John Carroll University.

He loved golf, racquetball, and working out. Dardis enjoyed family vacations and spending time with his grandkids. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a fun loving, happy and positive man with a smile that was infectious. He was dedicated, loyal, hardworking and welcoming. Dardis enjoyed life and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 13, 2016 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 10:30 AM.

Burial following with Military Honors at Lake View Cemetery.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Dale at The DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of South Euclid, 4600 Mayfield Rd. Wednesday 6-8 pm and Thursday 2-4 & 5-8 pm.
