Oxford, MS Vending Machine Thief Turns Himself In

Authorities in Oxford, MS, have arrested Jimmy Evans of Potts Camp, MS, in connection with a string of vending machine thefts in the area, according to WCBI.com. The police were contacted by Coca-Cola who reported thefts amounting to more than $19,000 stolen from their vending machines in the area between September 2015 and April of this year. Police identified the suspect as Evans and issued a warrant for his arrest. Evans, who turned himself in May 4, recently retired from Coca-Cola and had been using his employee key to unlock the machines and steal money.
