The University of Texas- Arlington Student Congress Academic Affairs Committee recently passed a resolution to introduce healthy vending machines to campus, according to The Shorthorn. The source reports that although many vending machines reside throughout campus, none are stocked with “healthy” choices, leaving students to travel to the University Center to purchase such snacks.
The resolution will be presented to the University Dining Committee after it is voted on at a general body meeting.
