As summer ends and football season begins, many people are creating their fantasy football drafts. As part of its weekly blog series, CPI discusses just how similar the strategies of choosing a fantasy football draft and vending technology can be.
First, operators should look at rankings. Although there aren’t official rankings for manufacturers or products in the vending industry (unlike sports rankings), there are other metrics operators can use to determine the best option, such as the product's/manufacturer's global reach, the number of industries served, acceptance rates and speed, etc.
Second, operators should keep an eye out for rookies. Rookies bring new competition and energy, writes CPI, but operators should be wise not to stack a portfolio with them. Instead, try a mix of technology.
