News Source: Texas High School Responds Positively To Healthy Vending

Healthy vending has seen more than positive feedback from one high school in San Antonio, TX. In fact, some are calling it a success story. As part of its Making Awesome Changes series with Salud San Antonio Heroes and University Hospital, KSAT reports that three years ago South San High School installed HUMAN healthy vending machines—the first in the city. The machines were placed in hallways near the cafeteria, so students always had the option of purchasing healthy food. Students have responded positively to healthy offerings and the machine is restocked three times per week. Other independent school districts around the area are considering adding healthy vending machines.
