CLEVELAND – March 16, 2015 –CLEANLIFE President and CEO Justin Miller was honored by The Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club as one of the Top 25 Under 35 Movers and Shakers of 2015 at their annual awards ceremony on Friday March 13, 2015.
Justin is the 26-year-old founder of Brooklyn, Ohio based CLEANLIFE ENERGY, LLC. Over the past three and a half years, Justin has expeditiously grown his business, becoming the leader in LEDs for the vending industry. CLEANLIFE also provides the broader commercial, niche, and consumer markets with a multitude of LED lighting and power solutions. As an up-and-coming leader in his community, Justin was recognized for his record of excellence in his work, civic engagement, and philanthropic efforts.
Justin is receiving the award from The Cleveland 20/30 Club, Northeast Ohio's largest and longest-running young professional organization. On both being an entrepreneur and building a successful company, Justin said, "It takes a lot of hunger and drive to build a business from scratch."
In August of 2014, Justin and CLEANLIFE were awarded a $25,000 Job Retention Business Grant by the city of Brooklyn, OH to bring jobs to the community. As a part of an over $100,000 investment, CLEANLIFE used the grant to enhance the performance and reliability of its current products and jumpstart the development of new ones by purchasing manufacturing and state of the art testing equipment, and continuing to recruit top talent. Justin believes attracting elite talent is key to the company’s future: “One of our keys to success is getting the overall mix of ingredients right. The right people play a huge part in that.” Since receiving the grant, CLEANLIFE has added seven full-time employees including engineers, marketing, and supply chain managers.
