Millennials Are Drinking A Lot More Tea Than Older Generation

Coffee consumption is lower than it was in 1946 and millennials opting for tea may be a contributing factor, according to Comunicaffe International. Tea consumption is trending upwards. The article claims it might be due to millennials drinking more tea. It cites research from YouGov.com which shows that older Americans prefer coffee – 70 percent of over-65s say that they prefer coffee to tea. For those under 30, coffee and tea are preferred equally – 42 percent of millennials preferring coffee and 42 percent tea.
