U.S. Adds 257K Jobs, Unemployment Rate Flattens At 5.7%

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that in January 2015, employment rose by 257,000 and the unemployment rate was little changed at 5.7 percent. Job gains occurred in retail trade, construction, health care, financial activities and manufacturing. Full report.
