Nov. 14, 2014

(CHICAGO) November 14, 2014 – The NAMA Foundation announced today the recipients for its 2015 undergraduate scholarship program. The program awarded post-high school non-renewable scholarships of $2,500 to three recipients who were chosen at random.

The Foundation received nearly 150 applications this year. To qualify for a scholarship, applicants were required to maintain a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and be a full-time employee or the son, daughter, or legal dependent of a full-time employee at a NAMA member company, and be sponsored by that company.

The three winners are:

  • Elizabeth Carani, Indian Lake Estates, FL, sponsored by Florida’s Natural Growers
  • Raven Foster, Montgomery, AL, sponsored by Automatic Food Service
  • Stephanie Jester, Plymouth, MN, sponsored by Royal Vending, Inc.

“We know this program is valued greatly by NAMA’s members and because of the support of our generous Foundation annual fund donors, we are proud to continue our support of the program,” said Lindsey Nelson, Executive Director of the NAMA Foundation.
