Social Media Vending Machine Accepts Instagram Photos As Payment

A social media-enabled vending machine is hitting college campuses across the U.S., according to Adweek. iHeartRadio, an Internet radio platform, has been traveling throughout the U.S. with a T-shirt vending machine that accepts Instagram photos as payments. Users of the machine get a unique four-digit code, which they tag to their Instagram photo, along with the hashtag #iHeartRadio. The photo then vends complimentary iHeartRadio merchandise. The vending machine has traveled to ten college campuses in its five-week campaign. Full article.
