Beaver Rock Roastery Introduces 100% Recyclable Single-Serve Coffee And Tea Cups, Providing Eco-Friendly Solution For Office Brewing

Oct. 7, 2014

BARRIE, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Oct. 3, 2014) - Locally owned and operated Beaver Rock Roastery is pleased to announce that they have won top honours for the most innovative product at the 2014 Grocery Innovations Canada (GIC) Show held in Toronto this past week by launching the coffee and tea industry's first fully recyclable single-serve cup in North America.

Beaver Rock Roastery is committed to the principles of sustainable development, and in particular, to the belief that the quality of lives improves when economic growth is integrated with the environment. "The single serve market has been a tremendous success so it was only natural that we looked for a way to reduce the environmental impact," commented Mark Nastasiuk, President. "In addition to responsible environmental practices in our day to day operations, a 100% recyclable product was the way to go."

Nastasiuk reported Beaver Rock is primed to release the new fully recyclable and environmentally friendly product line, along with several new coffee blends and roasts, flavoured coffees, and teas late this fall and into the Christmas season. Exciting additions to the line-up will be added in the first quarter of 2015.

This innovative new product provides single-serve coffee and tea drinkers an ecofriendly solution to their home and office brewing needs. In addition to the recyclable cup, Beaver Rock Roasters will continue its guarantee of freshness using the world's finest quality coffee beans and artisan teas.
