General Mills Announces Fiscal 2014 Vending Broker Of The Year Awards

General Mills, Inc. has named its Convenience Special Markets Brokers of the year for fiscal 2014 for its East and West vending regions. Burdette Beckmann, Inc. Southwest was awarded in the West, and Burdette Beckmann, Inc. Southeast with awarded in the East. The awards were based on exemplifying key competencies in driving overall market success through delivering outstanding results, gaining customer expertise, and proving resilience in a dynamic marketplace.

Both teams delivered outstanding results by driving significant incremental volume growth during the fiscal year, while building strong customer relationships at both the operator and distributor level. Burdette Beckman’s Southeast team was guided by Kevin Boland. Cyndi Brodt, General Mills’ East Region Sales Manager, commented “Kevin and his team built strong and effective relationships with their customers to drive General Mills volume and compliance. Executing his fiscal 14 plan, brought the team great success!”  The Southwest team was led by Lyndon Breaux. “Under Lyndon’s guidance, the BBI Southwest team was successful in developing meaningful relationships with both their operator and distributor partners alike, with a focus on growing key categories, while effectively launching new and differentiated products into their marketplace” – noted Mark Kelley, General Mills’ West Region Sales Manager.
