Cold Brew Coffee Kegs Make Entrance In Salt Lake City

Two coffee companies—The Rose Establishment and Jack Mormon Coffee Co.—are bringing a trend to Salt Lake City, UT: cold brew coffee from a keg, according to The Salt Lake Tribune. The Rose Establishment offers nitro coffee on tap to customers and goes through two, 5-gallon kegs each week, the source reports. Both companies are following in the footsteps of other cold brew coffee companies such as Stumptown Coffee Roasters in Portland, OR, and they are spreading the trend to other coffee roasters in Salt Lake City who have said they hope to add nitro coffee to their offerings by the end of the year.  Automatic Merchandiser reported in its August issue that 11.6 percent of OCS operators offer customers cold brew coffee.
