University Students Look To Add 40 Credit Card Readers To Campus Machines

The student government association at Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, PA, is looking to add up to 40 credit card readers to beverage vending machines on campus, according to The Rocket. The source reports that a five percent fee would be added to each purchase made with a credit card. One spokeswoman said that the card readers would help increase vending sales and fund campus organizations. The issue was tabled for the following week. The  univeristy added ten card readers at the beginning of 2014. Full article.
