(CHICAGO) September 18, 2014 – Eric Dell, NAMA’s Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and U.S. Representative Lamar Smith (R-TX 21st) are photographed alongside the FitPick vending machine, created by Crane, at the Fresh Fruit Festival held recently at the U.S. Capitol.
“Featuring the FitPick machine continues to be an excellent way for us to bring the FitPick brand to life, demonstrating that our industry is working to provide a selection of “better for you” products to the millions of Americans our members serve every day,” said Roni Moore, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at NAMA. “Showcasing the FitPick vending machine enhances awareness of the industry’s overall effort to be part of the nutrition solution,” she continued. “We thank Crane for their partnership in helping to make the FitPick machine available for high visibility events, an important part of our outreach campaign.”
This event, sponsored by the United Fresh Fruit Produce Association, was designed to get members of Congress and key DC decision-makers excited about fresh fruits and vegetables.
