Micro market and vending operators using video screens on kiosks and vending machines might be able to use sports as a way to attract users, according to Digital Signage Today. In a blog entitled, “5 ways to leverage pro sports to boost digital signage engagement (for free)”, DST suggests using a countdown feature on the digital signage to countdown to the game time of a location’s favorite team. The blog also suggests using a team’s RSS feed that would automatically send information to the digital signage news in real time or post the team’s schedule to run in a rotation on the screen.
