Nespresso To Allow Competition Capsules In Its Coffee Machines

Nespresso announced that it would begin allowing competitors' capsules in its coffee machines, according to ABCNews. The company had previously attempted to alter its machines to ensure that competition pods were unusable, however, French anti-trust regulators now announced that Nespresso will notify competitors four months prior to making brewer changes, as well as offer prototypes for testing. Nespresso also indicated that it would provide the same information with manufacturers selling outside France. Full article.
