The Non-GMO Project is a non-profit organization committed to preserving and building sources of non-GMO products, educating consumers, and providing verified non-GMO choices. GMOs, or "genetically modified organisms,” are plants or animals that have been genetically engineered with DNA from bacteria, viruses, and other animals and plants.
Brothers-All-Natural plans to have all of their products Non-GMO Project verified in the near future. Currently, six of their freeze-dried fruit products have received the Non-GMO Project verification seal of approval. All of these products passed a rigorous, independent verification process that assures consumers the products have met the Non-GMO Project Standard to avoid genetically modified organisms (GMO).
