The Society For Human Resource Management (SHRM) annual conference and exposition took place from June 22 to June 25, 2014 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. The SHRM exposition is the largest human resources solutions marketplace in the world with over 600 exhibitors. The exposition attracts over 14,000 attendees including company presidents, vice presidents, human resource managers and directors who are key decision makers in an office setting.
Several members in the vending, micro market and OCS industry exhibited at the show, including Keurig Green Mountain, Avanti Markets, Company Kitchen and National Vending.
Exhibitors ranged across several industries including child care, employee compensation & benefits, insurance and office health, wellness & safety.
Kris Ellington, national account executive for Avanti Markets, told VMW, “We [Avanti Markets] have doubled the number of attendees who have stopped by our booth every year that we’ve exhibited.” This year was the third time Avanti Markets has exhibited and as Ellington noted, the company’s exposure grows each time. “This year we had 1,400 attendees stop by the Avanti booth to learn about our micro markets, to see if they could implement them in their office.”
Ellington continued, “Many of the attendees were wanting to implement health and wellness into their office and we can help them achieve that with a micro market. Our partners all across the United States benefit from Avanti Corporate exhibiting at the National SHRM Conference.”
The 2015 Society For Human Resource Management Conference and Exposition will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, June 28 to July 1.
