Illinois Vending Operator Wins Midwest Hospital System Due To Healthier Offerings

Franciscan Alliance hospitals, with locations in Indiana, Illinois and Michigan, are getting a healthy vending machine option makeover, according to NWITimes. The hospital recently signed a contact with Ace Coffee Bar, a vending and foodservice provider in the Machesney Park, IL, area. According to the report, the operator will place more “healthy” items in the machine than traditional items as well as include video screens with nutritional information. Full article.
