Trend: Food Truck Industry Matures, Influences Consumer Behavior

The food truck industry has matured over the last five years, according to SmartBlog On Food & Beverage. Of surveyed consumers, 75 percent reported that food trucks have influenced their behavior at restaurants and grocery stores while 7 percent said they visited food trucks at least once a week.This is compared to a 2009 Datassential survey that reported 40 percent of consumers had never heard of food trucks.
