Jeff Snyder of Snyder Food Service is a candidate for Indiana’s Senate District 15.  With the election fast approaching, Snyder, who considers himself a conservative, is engaging a team of campaign professionals, family, friends and neighbors to help get the word out to run his race.

“My involvement with Indiana Vending Council, not only as a member, but also as a board member and president, provided me with the perspective that led to my interest in running.  I’m a businessman, not a career politician and I want to try to fix some things that are totally not right,” said Snyder in a prepared statement.

“I will work on key issues:  tax reform, business reform and welfare reform,” he continued.  “Most importantly, the vending industry services all types of businesses across the state giving me a clear view of what needs to improve in the political process to better support business growth and jobs.”

“The election is less than two weeks away and we’ll see where this all goes. I’m working to get the message out as a late entry to the race and my opponents are three longtime political people. But I realized that if we send the same type of individual to represent our constituency, we’re going to get the same result. I am confident I can represent the district very well. I have run a business; I know how to lead and I know how to make difficult decisions.”
