Vending Machines Provide Opportunity For Hackers

Vending machines are considered to be among a list of vulnerable access points for hackers to gain entrance to secure company information, according to the New York Times. Third party operations that are granted remote access to corporate systems, such as vending, account for roughly 23 percent of data breaches, according to a study done by the Ponemon Institute; however, some security experts say that percentage could be higher.
