Apriva Exhibits AprivaPay Plus, Universal Application At SEAA Conference, March 24 To 26

March 19, 2014

Apriva announced that it will participate in the Southeast Acquirers Association (SEAA) Annual Conference, scheduled for March 24 to 26 at the Omni CNN Center in Atlanta, Ga. Among the solutions that the company will display include its AprivaPay Plus mobile payments acceptance software, a full-featured application that turns iOS and Android smartphones and tablets into mobile point-of-sale terminals, as well as its Universal Application, which seamlessly delivers feature and compliance downloads to multiple dial, IP and wireless terminals. Apriva will be located at Table 96 throughout the exhibition.

“Apriva is a leader in delivering technology that allows merchant services providers to offer compelling new services and features to their merchants,” said Stacey Finley Tappin, the company’s senior vice president for North America sales and marketing communications, in a prepared statement. “The SEAA conference provides a great opportunity for Apriva to showcase its latest products and services, which continue to deliver real value to financial institutions, acquirers and their merchants who are increasingly looking for mobile commerce solutions as a means to enhance customer satisfaction.”

AprivaPay Plus is an intuitive, user-friendly application that turns iOS and Android smartphones and tablets into mobile point-of-sale terminals, enabling merchants to process card-based payments, check transactions and cash-based sales. Merchants can use the app to perform multiple tasks, such as setting sales tax rates and incorporating tipping right into the app.

Apriva will also showcase its Universal Application at SEAA. This application significantly improves the delivery of compliance and feature updates to point-of-sale terminals. The application has a common interface and functionality across multiple terminal families and communications technologies, simplifying what was once an expensive and cumbersome process. Through small push updates delivered at settlement time, merchant services providers can update combinations of dial, wireless and IP terminals in less than five minutes, compared to current methods which may take as much as 40 minutes for dial terminals. Merchants can receive these updates without taking their terminals offline, eliminating any disruption to their business.
