Joann DeNardis, NAMA’s director of education/certification, announced that NAMA will host two complimentary webinars to provide a glimpse of what to expect during the 2014 NAMA OneShow education sessions. The webinars will take place prior to the show so that attendees can learn more about select education sessions.
The first webinar, “The Perks of Attending QCCP,” will take place on March 11 at 1:30 p.m. CST. Mike Tompkins, a speaker at QCCP, will host the webinar and explain why coffee professionals should attend QCCP on April 8 to 9 in Chicago, Ill.
Another 30 minute webinar will be held on March 13 at 1:30 p.m. CST and will explore the education session “Organizational Culture: The Impact on Growth & Profitability.” The webinar will be hosted by the Culture by Choice team, with special guest Al Recher, CEO of Five Star Food Service, Canteen’s top franchise. Attendees will learn how Five Star has grown their top line by 81 percent and reduced turnover by 72 percent.
“These complimentary webinars will inform OneShow attendees the benefits of attending the education sessions,” DeNardis said in a prepared statmenet. “NAMA works hard to provide our members and OneShow attendees with relevant education options, and these webinars are a part of that. It is worth noting, however, that these webinars will preview just two of the 17 education sessions offered at the OneShow.”
