U-Vend USA LLC. (U-Vend), an operating unit of Internet Media Services, Inc. that designs, develops, distributes and markets various next-generation self-serve automated retailing kiosks suited for a variety of locations ranging from hospitals, schools, airports, grocery stores, mass merchants, malls and other retail locations announced that they have entered into an operator agreement for the distribution and sale of Mini Melts USA products throughout the greater Chicago, Ill. region.
Raymond Meyers, CEO of U-Vend, said in a prepared statement, "We are very excited with our new relationship with Mini Melts USA and, in particular, to have secured Chicago as the initial market for the introduction of our self-serve kiosks. This agreement allows U-Vend to place the Mini Melts kiosks in high volume big box stores, sporting facilities and shopping malls throughout the Chicago area. The initial sales volume we’re capturing at our current locations is exceeding expectations, and we look forward to the continued roll-out of operations through-out the greater Chicago area and its suburbs".
Mini Melts offers a superior frozen ice cream product which is produced utilizing the instantaneous freezing capabilities of liquid nitrogen to ensure that the delicious flavors are "locked in". The ice cream uses an ultra-premium base mix, and the highest quality flavors from around the globe and is available in 10 different flavors including banana split, cookie dough, cotton candy, mint chocolate, Oreo®, Moose Tracks® and of course, vanilla, chocolate and strawberry.

During the fourth quarter 2013, U-Vend successfully installed 30 advanced Mini Melts self-serve kiosks in 27 Wal-Mart stores and entertainment centers throughout the greater Chicago, Ill. area. Additional installations are planned for 2014.
To support the company’s existing kiosks and future expansion in the Chicago, Ill. and surrounding regions the company has placed into operation a supply depot to provide comprehensive support services for its operating inventory of kiosks. The fully-staffed depot occupies approximately 3,600 square feet and has the capacity to handle the servicing, maintenance and management requirements for over 400 self-serve kiosks.
