Former Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Troy Aikman To Keynote OneShow Opening Session

March 5, 2014

NAMA announced OneShow 2014 keynote speakers featuring Hall of Fame Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Troy Aikman.  Aikman, who won three Super Bowls in an impressive career with the Cowboys, is now part of FOX’s broadcast crew and is a successful businessman.

“We’re thrilled to have Troy as the keynote speaker for the 2014 OneShow,” said LyNae Schleyer, NAMA’s vice president of events, in a prepared statement. “He’s directed the winning drive and dedication from his football career into the development of successful business ventures. Our members will relate to his perspective and enjoy the session.”

Aikman will be interviewed onstage by Brad Sham, the longtime radio voice of the Dallas Cowboys. The keynote will take place at the opening general session on Wednesday, April 9. Aikman’s speech will follow opening remarks by NAMA Chair Pete Tullio and the annual State of the Industry address from NAMA CEO Carla Balakgie.

Thursday’s keynote address will feature Lisa Bodell, bestselling author of Kill the Company: End the Status Quo and Start an Innovation Revolution. Bodell, the founder of futurethink an award-winning innovation firm, helps businesses embrace change.

“Lisa is a dynamic speaker and I think our members will relate to her as an entrepreneur,” Schleyer said. “She founded her current organization on the principle that everyone has the power to innovate; they just need the knowledge and tools to know how. Her mission, with every audience she meets, is to open people’s minds about the future, provoke fresh thinking around what’s possible, and inspire people to take action.”
