NAMA Applauds G & J Marketing And Sales On QCCP Completion

Feb. 28, 2014

Joann DeNardis, NAMA’s director of education/certification, congratulated G & J Marketing and Sales, as all G & J sales representatives are now NAMA Certified Coffee Specialists (CCS). G & J sponsored a special offering of the NAMA Quality Coffee Certificate Program (QCCP) at its 2014 National Kickoff Meeting last month. Completing QCCP is the first step to becoming a Certified Coffee Specialist.

“We’re thrilled to welcome 32 new Certified Coffee Specialists to NAMA,” DeNardis said. “By hosting a special offering of QCCP, G & J recognized that QCCP is a professional development program and the first step to becoming a Certified Coffee Specialist.” For a complete listing of CCS designees, visit www.vending.org.

Greg Sidwell, president of G & J, said he was pleased with his employees’ development after completing QCCP.

“The QCCP was very effective in providing our sales force with an in-depth understanding of the coffee industry and the coffee category in vending and OCS. We could immediately see the impact,” Sidwell said in a prepared statement. “It provided a major boost of confidence in how we engage the OCS operator — taking the conversation to a higher level. We place high premium on training and rely on the expertise of NAMA to provide this kind of quality program.”

NAMA will offer the QCCP at the upcoming OneShow in Chicago, Ill. April 8 to 9. Attendees will gain a fundamental yet extensive understanding of coffee production and manufacturing, while experiencing guided tastings during this two day program. The second day now includes the Single Serve Evaluation Process to give office coffee service operators the leverage they need in the growing single serve segment.
