FDA Studies Safety Of Caramel Coloring In Sodas

The Food and Drug Administration is studying the hazards of caramel coloring in sodas, according to the Columbia Daily Tribune. The study comes after a report showing varying levels of an impurity formed in caramel coloring during the manufacturing process in twelve soda brands. Full article.
