Coffee Prices Drop As Production Increases

Global coffee production is expected to exceed demand for the fourth consecutive season, according to Bloomberg Businessweek. Arabica premium coffee prices fell to 27.95 cents per pound in early December 2013, the lowest since 2008. This marks the longest consecutive annual decline in twenty years.
