San Francisco On The Verge Of Banning Plastic Water Bottles

San Francisco, Calif. is on its way to joining a list of U.S. cities set to ban the sale of plastic water bottles, according to the SF Examiner. The proposed legislation would prohibit the sale of plastic water bottles during events with over 100 attendees that are held on public property. In addition, beginning in October 2014, news leases for food vendors and other venues on public property would prohibit the sale of plastic water bottles.
