Nestle, Mondelez, D.E. Master Blenders Partner With SAI To Create Green Coffee Carbon Footprint Rule For Coffee Industry

A ‘green’ coffee Carbon Footprint Product Category Rule (CFP-PCR) was initiated by the Sustainable Agriculture Initiative (SAI), according to the group. The new rule will provide the first product category rule for the calculation of greenhouse gas emissions from green coffee production. Nestle, Mondelez International and D.E. Master Blenders 1753 were among several companies working on the project steering group. Full report.
