Second San Francisco Supervisor Proposes Soda Tax Plan

Three weeks after San Francisco, Calif. Supervisor Scott Weiner announced a proposal for a 2-cents-per-ounce tax hike on sugary beverages, San Francisco, Calif. Supervisor Eric Mar proposed an additional tax, according to the SFGate. Both plans target the taxation of sugary beverages and will use the additional money to fund nutrition programs.
